THE INSPIRATION IS FROM A SOUTH AFRICAN ARTIST - ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE PLAYING WITH COLOURS AND GRAPHIC STYLE. AT FIRST IT WAS QUITE A CHALLENGE TO WORK WITHIN THESE COLOURS TO EXPRESS THE VALUES EFFECTIVELY..

i ve worked with a pallette knife layering some textures on the canvas board and played with some colour and depth on the cliffs..it was fun..

i have made some changes

and ya i think i like the changes

i do have to say that working in acrylics

is nt my best choice- i seem to paint layers upon layers to get textures and depth..it should of been in oils..or change my brand of acrylics..anyway its late at night 11.50 and i m tired..i had looonng days and painted at night..it s good though!!

thick impasto style layered over the board..enjoyed making it..had a few struggles but i am happy now..learned a few things in the process. i think i should do a few more to get more exercise...
