the journey to christchurch is tongue in the cheek - i ve tried to make a fun painting..the 2 artists are driving down the road with the snowy southern mountains in the background..they both have their canvases on the back of their "scooters.." I ve done this in oils and colours werent as bright as i hoped or simplistic as i thought it would be..every artists has a natural niche and although other artists makes this type of style look so easy to do-!! good on them!So i have made 3 paintings for the NZ ART GUILD SOUTH ISLAND ART EXHIBITION " COMMON GROUND" AND THEY WILL BE SEEN IN CHRISTCHURCH FROM THE 15-21 SEPTEMBER 2009.
