I enjoyed making this painting- the idea was to capture the awesome Clutha river- its strength- the glazier infused water moves its milky substance fast - i loved the cold weather outside when taking my pictures for the studies...thesouth island scenes.. makes us stand in awe.. i am hoping to make more of these..we went to ski at Cadrona this weekend and the rivers were just pumping... i was dancing around the sides to fill my camera memory with the lovely scenes..painted on boxed canvas with artists acrylicsstyle of painting is fast, well calculated expressions
